Zenkai Power Up; LOL moment for me!

 This may not be a very interesting post to you guys but i was viewing a thread recently and lets just say i "overheard" them talking about zenkai power ups and how after you turn ssj1 you lose the ability!

well that made me think of when Goku came out of a coma and decided he wanted to go to Namek...
The one thing i thought was so hilarious is how while on the ship, Goku Spammed the hell out of the Zenkai power up until he landed then became powerful enough to take out the fearsome Ginyu Force single-handedly!

Lol it made me laugh because that was the only time goku ever used his brain since DB.

 actually i think goku is pretty smart with battle tactics. not too good on putting the universe before fighting for enjoyment and his naivete.

 Yea, he was smart enough to put 2 and 2 together:

zenkai power up + senzu beans = a *****ing powerful saiyan!

That reminds me, i dont know any but do you guys know of any particular scenes aside from this one that actually depicts goku training?

That is the one thing that has always bothered me, thus making me a Goku Hater! They claim he achieves his power and strength from training yet fail to show us some scenes of goku actually working out. ive seen vegeta, ive seen piccolo, heck ive seen yamcha lol

hes always in some other secrete world training. just saying...

He was the first one to realize "mastering" SSj was better than just forcing more chi into their bodies and increasing their muscle size.

Goku is dumb.. if you see it from a certain human like point. But extremely smart and wise when it comes to fighting so he certainly knows how to do Battle Tactics, Transformation improvements.
Once upon a time, there used to be a signature. Then it got lame, and now I'm out of options for a new one.

 I'd also mention the concept of the gravity training. Goku after training in King Kai's world, he continued gravity training also in the spaceship to Namek. It was not just the Zenkai Power Up. In general I agree that Goku was genius in battle tactics and transformations.

Well said.

Goku didn't realize that he was getting those Zenkai boosts; look it up in the manga. "Unknowingly..." the something about him getting stronger, blah, blah. I don't have them on hand to reference them word for word.

Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****.

 Yes, he was genius only in unlocking the saiyan power and push it to the limits (first SSJ, then Full power SSJ, then SSJ2 , SSJ3) and always a step ahead of Vegeta. But he was not strategic and clever at all. If he was outclassed he wouldn't come victorious if it was not for the others (for example he wouldn't beat kid Buu without Vegeta's strategy).

 Im agreeigng with J-Smack, Goku didnt realize he was giving himself a zenkai.
I'd like to point out, it's ridiculous the amount goku grew in power. His power like, grew tenfold.

It confused me though, When Freeza was fighting Vegeta, Vegeta tried to give himself a zenkai. So he told Kurirun to blow a hole in his stomach.. so that dende could heal it. Vegeta didnt do it himself, because he said it 'wont work'.

Yet Goku pounded himself mercilessly with kamehameha after kamehameha, spamming zenkai.

ON ANOTHER NOTE, Dr Briefs explained that the artificial gravity device in the ship worked on the G-force of the spaceship travelling through space.. so how did he make on earth for Vegeta? completely Illogical.

 Oh yea I remember hearing that from vegeta in the anime.

And he like went from saiyan saga "its over 9000" power level to able to beat the ginyu force and bluff frieza power level.

vegeta tried that but I don't think any amount of the zenkai power up can make you ssj.. He needed to get angry, oh well...

Vegeta's I am super saiyan speech = FAIL.

I think Vegeta thought that he needs to get stronger until to a certain point, Who knew that you need emotions for the first Transformation.

Nobody actually knew how SSJ would look like so...

 Goku's not really dumb. Just... simple. Naive. His brain works in odd ways, but that's not to say he's stupid. He has simple, practical view of the world. A basic understanding of things. He can learn fairly quickly.

That said... I swear, I thought zenkai was used later than Frieza. I swear. I just don't remember.
